PRODUCT QUESTIONS.

Will my knives fit?

The Heritage Roll holds eight chef's knives up to 12 inches in blade length. The slots are sized for standard chef's, santoku, slicing, and utility knives. If you carry a 14-inch slicer or a yanagiba longer than 12 inches, it won't fit cleanly. Message us and we'll talk about a custom build.

How do I care for the leather?

Wipe with a dry cloth after service. Condition once a year with a small amount of leather balm. Keep dry when possible. Full-grain leather is built for daily use, it will scratch, soften, and patina with time. That's the leather doing what it should.

Why is it more expensive than other rolls?

Three reasons. The leather is full-grain American, vegetable-tanned over weeks at one of the last tanneries still doing it the old way. The hardware is solid brass, not plated. And every roll is hand-stitched at Glenn's bench in Norwood, Massachusetts, one pair of hands, about four hours per roll. That work doesn't happen at $180.

Can I get it engraved?

Yes. We offer initials or a short inscription on the inside flap. Add a note at checkout or message us before ordering. No charge.

How long until my order ships?

Each roll is made to order at Glenn's bench. Orders ship in 14 business days. If you need it sooner for a specific date, message us before ordering and we'll see what's possible.

How do I check my order status?

A tracking number is emailed the day your roll ships. Track via the link in that email, or reply to our shipping confirmation and we'll look it up for you.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, Glenn has started cutting the leather and we can't cancel. Email hello@sheathmade.com as soon as you know.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. US shipping is free. International ships via DHL Express to 27 countries, calculated at checkout. Prepaid duties are available at checkout if you'd like to settle customs charges in advance.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

RETURN QUESTIONS.

How do I return a roll?

Email hello@sheathmade.com within 30 days of delivery. We send a prepaid return label, free of charge. No restocking fee. Once we receive the roll at the workshop, we refund within 5 to 10 business days.

What if my package arrives damaged?

Email us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We replace it at no cost to you, including return shipping. This isn't a return question, it's a fix.

Can I return a used roll?

Returns are for unused rolls in original condition within 30 days. If you've used it and it's not working out, that's not a return question, it's a repair question. Email us about how it's failing and Glenn will take care of it. Lifetime repair has no time limit.

LIFETIME REPAIR

REPAIR QUESTIONS.

What does lifetime repair cover?

Anything that fails on the roll itself, stitching, hardware, leather. We don't repair customer-caused damage like deep cuts from a dropped knife or fire damage, but anything that comes from honest use, we'll fix free for as long as the roll is in your hands.

How do I send a roll in for repair?

Email hello@sheathmade.com with photos of the issue and your order number. We respond within 1 business day and send a prepaid shipping label. Glenn does the work at his bench in Norwood, Massachusetts, and we ship it home. No charge.
